Xingyiquan
Overview
Xingyiquan (Hsing Yi Chuan) is a popularly known Chinese internal martial art. Literally translated, it means "Shape Mind Fist." It is based on the movements and inner characteristics of 12 animals. The style was created by Marshal Yue Fei, a famous Chinese general of the Song Dynasty during wartime. Unlike most martial arts, Xingyiquan was created during to be more aggressive and offensive.
Xingyiquan is an internal art, and like Taijiquan, it improves Qi circulation in the body and maintains health. It trains you to build abundant levels of internal Qi to strengthen both the physical and mental bodies.
Instructor: Ken Craggs and Adison Martin
Ken Craggs has been learning and training Xingyiquan with Tai Ngo for many years. Adison Martin also has many years of experience in Xingyiquan and has won several awards in various internal competitions.
