Aaron Damus began training martial arts at a very early age. He began training at YMAA in 1997, eventually earning his Qin-Na (Chin-Na) Instructor qualification in July 2001 and becoming proficient in White Crane under Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming. In addition, Aaron has assisted in many Qin-Na and White Crane seminars held by Dr. Yang. Aaron often travels and teaches at many schools around the world.

He currently resides in Jamaica Plain. Outside of YMAA, he teaches and performs Salsa dancing. He is also a student at Boston University.
