The 2009 YMAA Portugal V Summer Camp will be held once more at Costa da Caparica. Classes will cover topics in Taijiquan, Pushing Hands, Qigong, Shaolin, Sparring, and Weapons. This year, we will have a special guest, Grandmaster Kao, Tao, who was Dr. Yang's first Taijiquan teacher in Taiwan.

Training will be outdoors when the weather permits. The campground is very spacious and a short walk from the beach.

This year will be the 5th annual Summer Camp event held by YMAA Portugal. Although it is a locally-held event in Portugal, students from abroad always register and participate. Last year's event brought in about 100 students from 8 countries. YMAA Instructors Pedro Rodrigues, Vitor Casqueiro, Nicholas Yang, Vitor Marques, and Celso Barja will be leading the camp exercises. Several other YMAA Instructors, Assistant Instructors, Coach Instructors, and teaching assistants will also be present.
